Preparing the jobsite for a timberframe raising is very important. We need certain things to be completed before we arrive to raise the frame.
The foundation must be backfilled
We will need power (electricity)
The site must be clear of trash, piles of debris, and other material
When we arrive to get started, one of the first things we will do is layout the subfloor, or concrete slab, for post locations. The picture shows the crew laying out mounting plate locations for the timber posts.
