From the Ashes  (2680 sq ft)

The news was horrible. One day before moving in...the house burned down. When the pictures hit my email, weary voices on the other end of the phone, we were stunned, saddened, wounded in some way. A year later, we were traveling up to Nebraska again with a new frame. Same design as the original, but there was a different feel to this one. A defiant feel, a 'not again' feel, a feeling that we were returning to a scene of family tragedy to try to bring light and hope to a scene still bearing the marks of fire and ash. As the frame raised into the bright blue sky, I thought to myself...From the Ashes.
