There are times when site restrictions dictate where we must set the crane. In a rare circumstance like this, we were actually unable to sit the crane next to where the frame was going to be set. Because of that, we had to increase the crane size and then proceed to lift the timber frame bent over the existing structure. Though the crane had limited visibility, we had one guy signalling to the crane operator while the rest of the guys guided the posts to the exact locations. It’s only through the teamwork of our guys that this was able to go as well as it did. Once it was all set, the owner now has a grand entry to their existing building. Some framing and a few finishes, this entry will be ready to host weddings in the years to come!
